The Ministry of Economic Development is working on this issue jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From the moment of submission, it takes a maximum of 6 days to process an electronic visa. You can apply from home through the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It costs $52. But now there is a task, following the session on tourism chaired by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, to work on reducing the cost of the electronic visa. We will work it out together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As a reminder, the electronic visa in Russia was launched on August 1 of this year. Within the framework of the service, citizens of 55 countries can apply for a visa to Russia online. Its validity period is 60 days from the date of issue, and the period of stay is 16 days from the date of entry into the country.
