But now there is a task, following the session on tourism chaired by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, to work on reducing the cost of the electronic visa. As a reminder, the electronic visa in Russia was launched on August 1 of this year. Within the framework of the service, citizens of 55 countries can apply for a visa to Russia online. Its validity period is 60 days from the date of issue, and the period of stay is 16 days from the date of entry into the country.
