Russian Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko announced that the mechanism of electronic visas for tourists planning to visit Russia will work in the autumn of 2023.
"We expect that in the near future we will see this mechanism working on our neighbors in friendly countries, primarily with China, India. I think that should happen in the fall",
The law on online registration of electronic visas was adopted in 2021, however, due to last year's events, we are now talking about visas only for citizens of friendly countries.
