The Yaroslavl Radio Plant (YaRZ), which is part of the Russian Space Systems holding, will create a special vehicle on a KamAZ chassis to service the landing areas of descending spacecraft.
The Yaroslavl Radio Plant (part of the RKS holding of Roscosmos) is developing a specialized vehicle for landing areas and primary maintenance of returned manned spacecraft. The tasks of the mobile complex of technical means on the KAMAZ chassis include monitoring the crew's negotiations with the search and rescue team, as well as transmitting voice and video information.
YaRZ specialists have already started manufacturing a prototype, which will be tested on the territory of the plant. The vehicle will be built on a KamAZ high- проходимости chassis with a van body.
The van provides comfortable temperature and living conditions for staff to work at any time of the year or day, as well as a workplace for the head of work.
