Included in the holding "Russian space systems" Yaroslavl radio plant (YARZ) will create a special transport on the chassis of KamAZ for servicing landing areas of descending spacecraft.
At the Yaroslavl Radio Plant (part of the RKS Roscosmos holding) they are developing a specialized transport vehicle for landing areas and primary service of returning manned spacecraft. The mobile complex of technical means based on KAMAZ includes, among other things, control of crew negotiations with the search and rescue team, as well as the transmission of speech and video information.
YARZ specialists have already begun to manufacture a prototype, which will be tested at the factory premises. The machine will be built on the chassis of a KamAZ with increased passability and a van-type body.
The van provides comfortable temperature and living conditions for personnel at any time of the year and day, as well as a workplace for the head of work.
