The scientific director of the National Center for Physics and Mathematics (NCPM), academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Sergeev spoke about the fact that in the long term, about 10 years, Russians may have digital twins - some kind of avatars. With such twins, it will be possible to predict the occurrence of diseases and plan actions to minimize risks.

In ten years, assuming the development of computing technologies, we will already be able to see a person's digital twin, which will give us useful results, which will advise what measures to take under certain conditions, so that the biological clock of all our organs go synchronously.
Alexander Sergeev

In the end, the goal of the NCPM project is to form a new healthcare model based on disease prevention. This will provide an individual approach to the patient, predict the development of diseases and prevent them.

It is assumed that digital twins of individual organs will start appearing first, after which they will be combined into a single system. Based on the input basic parameters of the human body, the computing system will calculate how the body will age or react to certain factors.

In parallel, the NCPM is implementing a project to create a human health profile - biological clocks of a full life cycle. To implement the project, a working group has been formed, which includes representatives of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency and the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. The pilot project on creating a profile of a healthy person is planned to be implemented in one of the closed cities of Rosatom.
