The dealer holding 'BN-Motors' has opened a factory for the production of light trucks BAW in Bryansk, which will be presented under its own brand BNM. The investment in the project amounted to more than 200 million rubles.

As reported by the president of the 'Russian Automobile Dealers' association (who is also the chairman of the board of directors of 'BN-Motors') Alexey Podschekoldin, cars are now delivered from China in a ready-made form, and assembly directly at the plant will be established within two months. The start of sales is planned for November 1.

The 'BN-Motors' staff currently comprises 70 employees, but as assembly is set up in Russia, the staff will expand to 150 people. This number will include the employees of the company's own design department, which will be involved in adapting the 'Chinese' to Russian operating conditions. By 2025, 'BN-Motors' plans to produce 24,000 trucks per year.

At the moment, 'BN-Motors' has only one model, BAW T7, but with different modifications (the full weight can be 2 or 3.5 tons). There are two types of cabins: single (for 2 people) or double (for 5 people). There are also two engines: a pure gasoline-powered one with 133 hp and a bifuel (gasoline/methane) one with 122 hp. The transmission is a 5-speed manual, and rear-wheel drive. The cost of the machine ranges from 2.08 to 2.4 million rubles.
