Perhaps, for the first time, "Nakidka" can be seen live directly on a sample of tracked vehicles. This "tank blanket" is produced by the "NII Stali". Deliveries of "Nakidka" to manufacturers of military equipment began at the end of June this year.
Earlier, Kalashnikov (NII Stali is part of this concern) stated that "Nakidka" protects primarily from detection by radar and thermal imaging reconnaissance devices, and optical camouflage is achieved through appropriate coloring.
As for the visor, this is not a parasol: the visor is used to protect against kamikaze drones and conventional grenades dropped from drones.
The T-80BVM is equipped with a GTD-1250 gas turbine engine with a capacity of 1250 hp. The maximum speed is 80 km/h, the cruising range on the highway is 500 km. The tank is equipped with a new Sosna-U sight and Relikt dynamic protection.
