Roscosmos reported that at the Army-2023 forum, which starts on August 14 in the Moscow region Kubinka, a model of the rocket engine RD-0169A will be displayed. It is planned to be used in the future Russian reusable rocket 'Amur'.

The first stage of the rocket is assumed to use five such engines. The RD-0169A engine being developed at KBHA is based on the scheme with combustion of oxidizer generator gas, has a thrust at Earth of 100 tons, and can be used up to ten times.

The Russian space department reported that work on the new engine has reached the stage of producing the first piece: production of units and assemblies is being carried out in the workshops, after which the assembly of the first engine for carrying out ground-based autonomous tests will follow.
