"Roscosmos" announced that a model of the newest Russian rocket "Korona" will be presented at the "Army-2023" forum next week.
"Korona" will be a fully reusable single-stage vertical take-off and landing launch vehicle. It will be able to not only put cargo into orbit, but also return it to Earth. And "Korona" can also be used as a vehicle for suborbital flights.
Currently, the company is conducting research work to confirm the main key technologies for creating the "Korona" launch vehicle with the involvement of leading institutes and enterprises of Roscosmos.
As Vladimir Degtyar, head of the State Rocket Center named after Academician V. P. Makeev, previously reported, "Korona" will provide an extremely low cost of launching a payload into orbit due to the fact that it can be launched into orbit up to 100 times.
