AvtoVAZ has updated the official website Lada.ru, now the crossover Lada X-Cross 5 is presented right on the main page. The caption to the image says "Coming soon for sale."

So far, there is no Lada X-Cross 5 in the catalog or in the configurator, and therefore, there are no prices. Earlier, the president of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, said that sales will start in the fourth quarter of this year, that is, not earlier than October. However, prices and equipment may be announced earlier.

Serial production of Lada X-Cross 5 was launched in June at the "Lada Saint Petersburg" enterprise, which is the former Nissan plant. In fact, under this name hides the Chinese crossover FAW Bestune T77, which is independently sold in Russia. The price is from 2.02 million roubles, taking into account the "benefits".

Lada X-Cross 5 will get a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 160 hp - it will become the most powerful serial model of AvtoVAZ. In tandem with the engine, it will work with a 7-speed "robot".
