AvtoVAZ has updated the official Lada.ru website, now the Lada X-Cross 5 crossover is presented directly on the main page. The caption to the image reads "Coming soon in sale".
So far, the Lada X-Cross 5 is not in the catalog or in the configurator, respectively, there are no prices either. Previously, AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov said that sales would start in the fourth quarter of this year, that is, no earlier than October. However, prices and configurations may be announced earlier.
Mass production of Lada X-Cross 5 was launched in June at the Lada St. Petersburg enterprise – this is the former Nissan plant. In fact, under this name hides the Chinese crossover FAW Bestune T77, which is independently sold in Russia. They ask for it from 2.02 million rubles, taking into account "benefits".
Lada X-Cross 5 will receive a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 160 hp – it will be the most powerful production model of AvtoVAZ. A 7-speed "robot" will work in tandem with the internal combustion engine.
