Rostech has published an interesting video in its Telegram channel - a shot from a T-90 tank gun in slow motion. In the frames, you can see the projectile flying out and the mini-explosion that accompanies it.
The T-90 tank was adopted in 1992 and has been upgraded many times since. Currently, in addition to the 125 mm caliber gun-launcher, the tank is armed with NSVT 12.7 mm and PKT 7.62 mm machine guns, as well as 12 smoke grenade launchers.
The tank is powered by a V-92S2 engine with 1000 hp. The transmission is a planetary gearbox with hydrocontrol that provides 7 forward gears and one reverse.
The T-90 chassis has become the basis for a variety of combat vehicles, such as the 'Coalition-SV' self-propelled artillery, TOS-1A 'Sunheat', BMPT 'Terminator', and others.
