The company "Photoprint-Ivanovo" has launched the production of a fabric with a "breathing" water-repellent membrane layer. The enterprise plans to produce more than 600 thousand linear meters of finished products per year.

Membrane fabric is used to make outerwear, sportswear, special clothing, and even tourist tents. The new material reliably protects against cold temperatures and wind and does not let moisture inside. Investments in production amounted to approximately 120 million rubles.

Until recently, the market for textile membrane products was almost entirely occupied by foreign manufacturers. The production of "Photoprint-Ivanovo" will allow reducing the indicator to 60% with the prospect of further import substitution.
