В России создали ИИ для проверки электронных водительских прав. Приложение внедряют крупнейшие российские банки

It is relevant not only for banks, but also for insurance companies and government agencies

Smart Engines has introduced an AI-based solution for recognizing electronic driver's licenses. The smartphone application instantly reads the QR code data from the "Gosuslugi Avto" application, which contains encrypted driver data. The technology has already begun to be implemented by major Russian banks to provide services for digital documents.

Everything indicates that electronic driver's licenses will soon be equated with physical ones in Russia. Electronic driver's licenses have been tested since last year, and a few days ago the Ministry of Digital Development prepared a draft government decree equating electronic driver's licenses with physical ones. At the same time, electronic driver's licenses, as well as classic ones, are an identity document. This means that with the help of such a document you can get a certain set of banking and insurance services.

For instant scanning of electronic licenses, the Moscow-based company Smart Engines has developed a new technology in the Smart Code Engine barcode recognition system. Now it contains the function of an “infinite” barcode session and recognizes an unlimited number of QR codes in a row. The process of reading data from one QR code takes 0.035 seconds. The software is fully developed in Russia and is included in the register of domestic software. Today, there is a global trend towards the use of digital identity documents: some countries have already successfully implemented electronic identity documents, while others are working on this. We offer a solution that allows you to instantly scan any QR codes. In the context of the development of the digital economy in the Russian Federation, the Smart Code Engine solution with the function of an infinite barcode session is especially relevant for banks, insurance companies and government agencies.
