Today, AvtoVAZ announced the resumption of production of Lada Granta with an anti-lock braking system (ABS). It's provided by 'Itelma', which recently launched the production of ABS units in Kostroma. These systems will be equipped for both Lada Granta and Vesta.
AvtoVAZ notes that ABS is installed on all models of the Granta family, starting from the Classic configuration. The recommended retail price of 'Granta' with ABS starts at 772 500 rubles.
Meanwhile, the public 'Atypical AvtoVAZ' today reported that the return of the central lock to the Lada Granta configuration (it was supposed to appear in Granta this summer) is being postponed due to problems with the supply of components.
