Today AvtoVAZ announced the resumption of production of Lada Granta with an anti-lock braking system (ABS). It is supplied by Itelma, which recently launched the production of ABS units in Kostroma. These systems will be installed on both Lada Granta and Vesta.
AvtoVAZ notes that ABS is installed on all models of the Granta family, starting with the Classic trim level. The recommended retail price of Granta with ABS starts at 772,500 rubles.
At the same time, the Nontypical AvtoVAZ public page reported today that the return of the central locking system to the Lada Granta configuration (it was supposed to appear in the Granta this summer) is being postponed due to problems with the supply of components.
