The Vega Research Institute of the Avtomatika Concern (part of the Roselectronica holding of the Rostec State Corporation) has manufactured a prototype of the Alcor medical complex for minimally invasive surgery and successfully tested it. This complex can be used in gynecology, proctology, and urology, as well as in examining veins, removing skin neoplasms, and treating ENT diseases.
The complex developed by the Vega Research Institute is built on a modular principle. It combines a radio-wave surgical device, a diode laser dual-wave coagulator unit, an ultrasonic scanning unit with color Doppler, an ultrasonic Doppler unit, an endovideo system unit, and a single control panel with special software in one medical rack.
Minimally invasive surgery is a modern treatment method that is used in various fields of medicine and is as safe as possible for the patient. When developing the Alcor complex, we took into account the opinion of doctors who will use the equipment in their work. Preliminary tests of the equipment confirmed that the complex meets the technical specifications. At the moment, we have already applied for registration of the results of intellectual activity and are preparing for acceptance tests, as well as for registration of the product with Roszdravnadzor.
