TASS, citing materials prepared for the meeting of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin with Aeroflot CEO Sergey Alexandrovsky, writes that in May 2023, the domestic airline became the leader in punctuality of flights among 50 carriers in the world.
However, the same materials contain a caveat: the data is provided "based on passenger traffic and the airline's own data on arrival punctuality in accordance with the calculation methodology of global analytical agencies, data from the international analytical agency OAG".
The materials also indicate that the level of flight safety in 2022 amounted to 99.979%, and at the end of the first quarter of 2023 – 99.969%.
