NPP "Almaz", part of the holding "Roselectronics" of "Rostec", presented a working prototype of the "CardioRobot" - an automated device for indirect heart massage during cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The device can be used not only in stationary conditions, but also, for example, by ambulance teams. The device is equipped with a pulse oximeter and a non-invasive blood pressure measurement cuff, relying on the data from these sensors, it automatically adjusts the pressure and depth of compression.

From the built-in battery, the "CardioRobot" can work up to 45 minutes. The launch of serial production of the device is scheduled for 2025.
