The Governor of the Omsk region announced that a Scientific Center for the development of unmanned aviation systems will be established in the region.
«We will be releasing light aircraft and training simulators together with industrial and financial partners, as well as leading universities. We will start implementing the project next year on the orders of President Vladimir Putin. The region has all the opportunities to create drones and train specialists for this field», - said Khotsenko. He added that the project will be implemented by two local technical universities - OmSTU and OmGAU. Other partners will join them in the future.
