Retailer Ozon announced today the launch of sales in Armenia.
«Residents of Armenia can already order goods from Russia on Ozon. Almost the entire assortment of the Russian marketplace is available to them - 196 million item names in more than 20 categories: from books and clothes to groceries or health products», – the company said.
Initially, goods will be delivered through the Omni Logistics courier service and through order pick-up points throughout the country, but in the future Ozon plans to develop its own logistics infrastructure in Armenia.
«Ozon continues to develop on the international scene in order to open up new opportunities for convenient online shopping for residents of neighboring countries. We want to strengthen our infrastructure in the country so that even residents of the most remote corners of Armenia could order online and choose products from a wide range», – said Alexey Sapon, Director of Operations and Development of Ozon in the CIS.
