The head of "Roscosmos" Yuri Borisov at a meeting with Vladimir Putin outlined the deployment period of the Russian orbital station (ROS) in its final configuration.

"From 2024, we need to start full-scale work on the formation of the Russian orbital station, complete the main work by 2030, and fully complete the formation of the station by 2032," said Borisov. He added that the efficiency of ROS will be significantly higher than the Russian segment of the ISS.

Also, Yuri Borisov lamented the costliness of creating the ROS. "We are constantly in the criticism zone of our colleagues from the financial and economic block," said the head of "Roscosmos". Recall that in October 2022, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade RF Denis Manturov announced that the preliminary cost of creating a promising ROS is already known, but the he did not name the amount.
