At the International Youth Industrial Forum "Engineers of the Future – 2023", a new anti-aircraft installation based on the well-known domestic armored personnel carrier BTR-82 was shown for the first time.
The vehicle was equipped with a pair of 23-mm anti-aircraft guns 2A7, a radar station, a sighting system, and an overview-panoramic system.
Such a light "anti-aircraft gun", obviously, was created to combat various types of drones – reconnaissance drones, kamikaze drones, barrage munitions, etc. It is assumed that the entire "suspension" can be installed on other wheeled and tracked platforms.
