Preparations for serial production of the novelty have already started at "Avtotor", at the moment the company has produced several dozen SUVs in test mode.

The BAIC BJ40 for the Russian market was announced earlier. This medium-sized model is equipped with a 2-liter gasoline turbo engine with 225 hp, 8-speed "automatic" and all-wheel drive system. The front and rear bumpers are specially designed for maximum geometric passability. A feature of the BAIC BJ40 is a removable roof. It consists of three sections: two over the front seats, the third - over the rear part of the car. The price of the car has already been announced - 3.76 million rubles (the configuration of the BAIC BJ40 is only one as yet).
