All new Russian frigates and corvettes will receive hypersonic "Zircon" missiles, and new helicopter carrier ships will be equipped with unmanned boats

The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, announced that all frigates and corvettes under construction and new ones will be armed with hypersonic "Zircon" missiles. He added that the Navy will not abandon the "Onyx" and "Caliber" cruise missiles, which have proven their high reliability.

A TASS source in the naval sphere said that the universal landing helicopter carrier ships of Project 23900 "Ivan Rogov" and "Mitrofan Moskalenko" will receive unmanned boats.

"Universal landing ships of Project 23900, in addition to a group of naval helicopters, will carry on board and control unmanned boats designed for anti-submarine and anti-mine defense of the ship", - said the TASS source. He added that we are talking about autonomous boats of the "Typhoon" type, equipped with drones and sensors for detecting enemy submarines.
