According to Auto.ru, FSUE NAMI, controlled by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has concluded a deal to acquire 100% of Robert Bosch Samara. The main asset is a plant in the Samara region for the production of automotive components – steering systems, as well as ABS and ESP systems. These ABS units were installed on Lada cars until March 2022, when the company ceased operations amid the Ukrainian events.
The company will resume operations in 2024, while all staff (107 employees) will retain their jobs. Auto.ru notes that since NAMI does not participate in the management of the newly acquired assets, the plant may be transferred to one of its partners for management or ownership. For example, AvtoVAZ.
