The creator of the legendary all-terrain vehicle 'Sherp', Alexey Garagashyan has created a new off-road vehicle. Images from the Rospatent database demonstrate a pickup truck with a single cab, a large cargo platform, and traditionally huge wheels.
The engineer has not yet announced the technical specifications and the name of the future model, it is only reported that the technical part for the novelty was borrowed from the GAZ 'Sadko'.
In the early 2000s, Alexey Garagashyan created a fundamentally new all-terrain vehicle 'Sherp', placing the body on tubeless low-pressure tires and pneumatic suspension. 'Sherp' is capable of moving on almost any surface, including on water, for which it gained all its popularity.
The vehicle has gained fame not only in Russia but also abroad. In particular, the Department of Emergency Situations of Belarus, structures of the UN use ‘Sherp’. It is also well known in the US: Kanye West purchases 'Sherp' and gives them away to his friends. Garagashyan's development 'inspired' other companies to produce similar machines - BigBo, AG20, Tug, Typhoon, FAT TRUCK, and others.
