Alexey Garagashyan, the creator of the legendary all-terrain vehicle "Sherp," has created a new SUV. Images from the Rospatent database show a pickup truck with a single-row cab, a large cargo platform, and traditionally huge wheels.
The engineer has not yet announced the technical specifications and name of the future model, only reporting that the technical part for the new product was borrowed from GAZ "Sadko."
In the early 2000s, Alexey Garagashyan created a fundamentally new all-terrain vehicle "Sherp," "placing" the body on tubeless tires of ultra-low pressure and a pneumatic circulation suspension. "Sherp" is capable of moving on almost any surface, including water, for which it received all its popularity.
The car has gained fame not only in Russia, but also abroad. In particular, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus and UN structures use "Sherps." They also know it well in the USA: Kanye West buys "Sherps" and gives them to his friends. Garagashyan's development "inspired" other companies to produce similar machines – BigBo, AG20, Shatun, Typhoon, FAT TRUCK and others.
