The head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, announced that the production of Lada Vesta Aura could be organized quite quickly, but only if government support is provided.
«With the implementation of all government support measures, it can be put into mass production quite quickly: as early as next year», – said Sokolov.
«We have long been saying that it is necessary to support, from the point of view of mandatory sales for government procurement, to expand this list to leasing for officials, civil servants, employees of budgetary institutions, and state corporations», – explained Sokolov.
The head of AvtoVAZ also clarified the issue of the cost of Lada Vesta Aura. Recall that on the day of the car's announcement, it was said that the price would be 2 million rubles - this is just a fabulous cost for an extended Vesta with increased comfort. But there will be no fabulous prices.
«Based on the production volumes — effective demand — its price will be clear. It will be higher than 2 million rubles, even significantly higher than 2 million rubles. This is a premium class car», — said Sokolov.
