The head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, announced that the production of Lada Vesta Aura could be organized quite quickly, but only if government support is provided.

"If all measures of government support are implemented, it can be quite quickly: already next year, put into conveyor production", said Sokolov.

"We have long been saying that it is necessary to support in terms of mandatory sales for government procurement, expand this list to leasing for officials, civil servants, employees of budgetary institutions, state corporations", Sokolov explained.

The head of AvtoVAZ also clarified the issue of the cost of Lada Vesta Aura. Recall, on the day of the car's announcement, it was said that the price would be 2 million rubles - this is simply a fabulous cost for the extended Vesta of increased comfort. But there will be no fabulous prices.

"Based on the volume of production - the ability to pay demand - its price will be obvious. It will be higher than 2 million rubles, even significantly higher than 2 million rubles. This is a premium class car", said Sokolov.
