The Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant has conducted ground tests of a helicopter of its own design called the AP-55. According to the creators, the rotorcraft can be used both for tourism purposes and for training flight school cadets.
The AP-55 received a gas turbine engine with a capacity of 350 hp. The maximum take-off weight is 1365 kg, the maximum cruising speed is 240 km/h. The timing of the launch of the AP-55 into mass production has not yet been announced.
