The Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant conducted ground tests of its own development helicopter named AP-55. According to the creators, this rotary-wing machine can be used for tourism purposes as well as for training cadets at flight schools.
The AP-55 received a gas turbine engine with 350 horsepower. The maximum takeoff weight is 1365 kg, and the maximum cruising speed is 240 km/h. The start dates for AP-55 mass production are not yet announced.
