The "Center for the Development of Hydroabrasive Technologies" (CRGT) company from Chelyabinsk will create the first Russian hydroabrasive machine – for cutting metal with water.
It will be released in 2024, with investments in development under the "Import Substitution" program amounting to 30 million rubles. It is planned that the machine will consist of 80% domestic components.
The Ministry of Industry of the Chelyabinsk Region reported that the new machine will not be inferior in quality and characteristics to Western counterparts, and the spare parts will surpass those produced in China. CRGT itself currently supplies and sells machines of Turkish and Chinese production.
