The president of Rostelecom, Mikhail Oseevsky, announced the signing of a forward contract worth 2.5 billion rubles with a subsidiary of Electra for the supply of 800 thousand routers.
Rostelecom clarified that as part of the contract, home routers will be released in several modifications, all of which will use Russian chips manufactured by the Micron factory near Moscow. Delivery is expected to begin in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
There is also a contract for the supply of set-top boxes for 200,000 units, approximately for 0.5 billion rubles. We already have video cameras and switches production, which are also used in the service of the Unified Voting Day, we are counting on the expansion of this equipment lineup and the increase in delivery volumes, Rostelecom said.
