The holding company within Rostec showcased a sapper robot at the International Exhibition 'Kompleksnaya Bezopasnost'. The demining machine is designed to detect and destroy anti-personnel mines.
The device uses a chain hammer trawl as the working element, and solid-filled wheels and track links provide high resilience and passability. The robot can be controlled either by a driver in the cabin or remotely - by an operator, who can be up to 1 kilometer away.
Rostec notes that the first batch of sapper robots can be delivered this year.
