Previously, high-quality glass (with magnetron sputtering) was supplied to Russia from Europe and China, but now it is produced independently. This week, a company from Rostov-on-Don shipped the first 46 tons of products to Russian customers.
Magnetron glass is a glass onto one side of which several layers of metal oxides are applied using a vacuum method. The thickness of the coating is 1000 times less than that of a sheet of paper, it gives the glass an unprecedented level of light transmission, while providing thermal insulation and protection from solar heat. Such a coating is the most advanced and modern method in the production of high-quality glass.
