The Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, following a meeting with the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, stated that the countries intend to expand cooperation in the production of Russian aircraft for regional aviation.
«Belarus produces aviation components for us, and we discussed with them the possibility of expanding operational principles, bearing in mind the production of aircraft for regional aviation», - said Manturov. He added that a comprehensive program for the development of partnership between Belarus and Russia in this area should be ready within two months. It is planned to approve it at the Innoprom international industrial exhibition.
As a reminder, earlier the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting with the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, stated that the republic is ready to start producing components for Russian aircraft.
