The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Denis Manturov, after a meeting with Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, said that the countries intend to expand cooperation in the production of Russian aircraft for regional aviation.

«Belarus produces aviation components for us, and we discussed with them the possibility of expanding operational principles with regard to the production of aircraft for regional aviation,» Manturov reported. He added that a comprehensive program for the development of the RB and RF partnership in this area should be ready within two months. They plan to approve it at the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom".

Recall, earlier the president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic is ready to begin to produce components for Russian aircraft.
