The First Deputy Head of Rostec, Vladimir Artyakov, announced that ONPP "Tekhnologiya" named after A. G. Romashin, which is part of the state corporation, has increased the production of new composites for the production of Su-57 fighters – this will increase the production of fighters.
«We started the import substitution program several years ago and today we are meeting the needs of the aerospace industry in all key materials, including increasing the production of Su-57 fighters», – said Vladimir Artyakov.
«We must provide aircraft manufacturers with modern materials, because without them it is impossible to create new equipment, on which the future of our country largely depends. This issue became especially acute after the departure of foreign companies from Russia», – he added.
According to TASS, the new composites are not only stronger than delta-wood and aluminum alloys, but also much lighter.
