On Thursday, "Izvestia" published a material, which mentioned the reduction of state support for regional air routes by 1.4-1.5 billion rubles. RIA "News" source confirmed the program funding cuts by 1.4 billion rubles (to approximately 7.6 billion), and a representative of "Rosaviation" announced that the department, together with airlines and regions, is working on adjusting the route network due to funding optimization.

"Rosaviation" advised airlines to adhere to the principle of efficient budget reallocation and maintaining an acceptable level of air transport accessibility when reviewing the route network. “In the course of this work, Rosaviation conducts an analysis of the formed route network, an updated list of subsidized regional routes will be prepared and additional suggestions will be made”, added in the department.
