The Moscow automobile plant reported the sale of 969 cars in April 2023, and about half of these cars have already been registered and registered with the traffic police. The sales volume itself on the scale of the whole country (and even the sagging car market) is small, but for Moskvich this is a record: April sales almost doubled March sales.
There is some more statistics. It is reported that individuals purchased 513 cars, 235 cars were purchased under the trade-in program. Corporate clients (including BelkaCar car sharing) purchased 456 cars. Moskvich notes that the main assembly line of the plant started operating in April, due to which the assembly performance more than doubled.
