A representative of the Danieli Group management – an Italian manufacturer of metallurgical equipment – announced that the company will leave Russia. The reason is the sanctions that made impossible the supply of equipment to the RF. Now the company will be looking for a buyer for their Russian assets.
«Danieli's departure from the Russian market is due to the inability to sell equipment in Russia due to the sanction regime established by the European community. The rules have become so strict that supply is impossible», - said a representative of the Danieli Group. He also added that Danieli Volga – the company's representative office in Russia – is also facing difficulties.
«We want to see if we can find a buyer for this Russian asset. We are in the process of exploring ways to put this company up for sale. I think it will take about six months to find out something. By the end of the year, I think, we will have a position on who should be the best buyers», - said in Danieli Group.
