A representative of the Danieli Group's management - an Italian manufacturer of metallurgical equipment - announced that the company will leave Russia. The reason is the sanctions that made it impossible to supply equipment to the Russian Federation. Now the company will be looking for a buyer for its Russian assets.
"Danieli's withdrawal from the Russian market is due to the impossibility of selling equipment in Russia due to the sanctions regime established by the European community. The rules have become so strict that deliveries are impossible", - said a representative of the Danieli Group. He also added that Danieli Volga, the company's representative office in Russia, is also facing difficulties in its work.
"We want to see if we can find a buyer for this Russian asset. We are in the process of exploring ways to put this company up for sale. I think it will take about six months to find out something. By the end of the year, I think we will have a position on who the best buyers should be", - said Danieli Group.
