On April 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the development of unmanned aviation in the country, and literally the next day, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that it had a draft for the development of drones in Russia until 2030. And for the future – until 2035.
As reported, the document was sent for interdepartmental approval, the strategy should be approved by June 1. "Its implementation will help ensure technological sovereignty in the areas of development, production and safe operation of civilian drones," said Vasily Osmakov, First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The strategy provides not only for the production of UAVs and components for them, but also for the creation of effective certification measures and the provision of the industry with qualified personnel.
