On April 28th, the president of Russia Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the development of unmanned aviation in the country, and literally the next day the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that it has a project for the development of unmanned vehicles in Russia up to 2030. And in perspective – up to 2035 year.
As reported, the document was sent for interdepartmental coordination, the strategy should be approved before 1 of June. «Its implementation will help to ensure technological sovereignty in the fields of development, production and safe operation of civil unmanned vehicles», — stated the deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Vasily Osmakov.
The strategy provides not only the production of UAVs themselves and their components, but also the creation of effective certification measures and provision of the industry with qualified personnel.
