As reported by RIA Novosti, "Rostec" has signed an additional contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense for the supply of advanced military equipment. Production will be set up at the "Kurganmashzavod".

"The plans for the coming years include the BMP-3, as well as the BMP-3 after major overhaul, BMD-4M, BTR-MDM, BREM-L, modernization of the BMP-2 with the "Berezhok" combat compartment, mastering the repair of Airborne Forces equipment, introducing new models of military equipment into production - 125-mm self-propelled anti-tank gun 2S25M, armored personnel carrier BT-3F", - reported in "Rostec".

In February 2023, "Rostec" reported on the growth of weapon production. In particular, Sergey Chemezov, the head of "Rostec", spoke about an increase in the volumes of production of some military products by more than 50 times.
