"VKontakte" announced that the social network's first NFT collection called CryptoSpotty was a great success with users: all the tokens were sold out in an hour. They were sold on the VK NFT platform for rubles.
A total of 8,000 NFTs were issued with images of the dog Spotty, the symbol of the social network, which had previously appeared on avatars and stickers. And now it has come to NFTs.
Users were offered one NFT for 380 rubles or three for 850 rubles. All proceeds from the sale of tokens will go to the restoration of an architectural monument - the Baka tenement house in St. Petersburg.
Since the first issue of tokens was successful, "VKontakte" is already preparing the next issues. Also, in the near future, the company will launch its own NFT marketplace.
