The Russian "daughters" of global automakers Hyundai, Toyota and Nissan have published financial statements, which show that in 2022 their total net loss amounted to 57 billion rubles.
Toyota recorded a record loss by Russian accounting standards – in 2022, its size exceeded 32 billion rubles. The second largest loss in the Russian automotive industry was at the Hyundai plant – it amounted to 19 billion rubles. The Nissan plant recorded a net loss of just over 6 billion rubles in its 2022 financial statements. The total revenue of the three plants for the year collapsed fourfold – from 639.2 billion rubles in 2021 to 157.6 billion rubles in 2022.
