Прощайте, Hyundai и Kia? Южная Корея запре поставки в Россию автомобилей

Spare parts are also subject to the ban

Unlike European countries and Japan, South Korea did not ban the supply of cars to Russia, but that will soon change. From April 28, this country is strengthening export controls on Russia and Belarus, and the list of goods prohibited for export will increase from 57 to 798 items.

The new list includes semiconductors, quantum computers, chemical, steel, and machine-building products. It also includes spare parts for cars, as well as the cars themselves, but not all, only those that cost more than 50 thousand dollars. In theory, all this can be supplied to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus even after April 28, but for this it will be necessary to obtain government permission, which is at least difficult, and in fact is unlikely to be feasible at all.
