The Chery-owned brand Omoda has announced the cost of its mid-size sedan, the Omoda S5. It comes in three trims: Life, Tech, and Ultra, priced at 2.16, 2.27, and 2.47 million rubles, respectively. However, using the trade-in and financial programs, the price can be reduced by 140-210 thousand rubles.

The Omoda S5 falls in the same niche as the Toyota Corolla and Kia Cerato were before they were officially sold in Russia. Measurements of the Chinese sedan are 4644 x 1814 x 1493 mm, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. The base version of the Omoda S5 features a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 113 horsepower and a variable transmission, while the top version has the same 1.5-liter engine, but turbocharged with 147 horsepower. This also works with a variable transmission.

Even in the base model, the Omoda S5 has LED headlights, a panoramic roof, a surround view system, 6 airbags, cruise control (but regular air conditioning, albeit with electronic control), heated front seats, and a 10.25-inch screen on the front panel as part of the media system.
