Rospatent notes a 6% increase in the number of applications for the registration of inventions and a 14-percent increase in industrial designs for the first two months of this year compared to the same period of 2022.
In particular, there is an increase in the number of Russian applications in the field of medicine, biotechnology, automotive industry and metallurgy.

The number of applications for software has increased by 36.5%. In this category, the department notes a positive trend over the past two years.
