According to information from Quto.ru, a major dealer has brought a significant batch of previous-generation Skoda Octavia hatchbacks (Octavia A7) to Russia. Previously, these cars were manufactured in Russia at the plant in Nizhny Novgorod, but now they are supplied from China as part of parallel imports (their production in China has not stopped).
Despite the similarity of the front end, the rear is designed differently than the Russian Octavia A7, more like the flagship Superb. And the engines of the "Chinese" are also different: the cars imported to Russia are equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 113 hp, working in tandem with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Such an "old-new" Octavia A7 costs 2.4 million rubles. On the one hand, in modern conditions this is not too expensive, but on the other hand, the configuration is quite modest: there is a media system and ABS, but there are only front airbags, and instead of climate control, a regular air conditioner is installed.
