KAMAZ-4510 was produced at the Kama Automobile Plant. Its first public appearance was in November 1982, and the first pilot batch was released in 1992. In total, 1,495 units of this model were produced between 1992 and 1996. KAMAZ-4510 is a medium-duty dump truck that is still in demand in agriculture, the construction industry, and other fields, despite being discontinued. Key features of this model include a 6x6 wheel arrangement, providing increased off-road capability, and a robust platform, ideally suited for transporting bulk materials. The vehicle was equipped with a 14.8-liter diesel engine capable of developing up to 330 horsepower.
Little is known about this vehicle, which is mainly intended for agricultural needs.
The payload capacity of the KAMAZ-4510 reached 7 tons, and the 6x6 wheel arrangement was the same as that of the KAMAZ-55102. However, unlike the latter, the KAMAZ-4510 was equipped with single tires.
Unlike the KAMAZ-55102, the KAMAZ-4510 chassis could be equipped not only with mesh sides but also with a dump body for transporting silage with rear unloading.
The KAMAZ-4510 cab was designed with ergonomics and driver comfort in mind. Although it was not particularly sophisticated, it provided the necessary level of comfort for working for extended periods. Important attention was paid to visibility and ease of operation, allowing the driver to perform their tasks as efficiently as possible.
The KAMAZ-4510's power plant was a 14,860 cm³ diesel engine. This was sufficient for efficient operation with the specified payload, as well as for overcoming difficult off-road sections. The transmission was mechanical, giving the driver complete control over traction and speed.
