The author of the "Klubny Servis" channel managed to purchase a new product from the domestic AvtoVAZ plant — Lada Iskra. The car was completely disassembled to assess the assembly and components. The result was ambiguous.
The passenger-side airbag is from Japan, while the driver's side is from China. The airbag control unit, as well as the media system with built-in Yandex services, were also produced in China. From the domestic side, there is the instrument panel manufactured by "ITELMA."
Despite the fact that the body geometry differs from the Renault Logan, the car was developed on the CMF-B platform, which AvtoVAZ retained from the time of its cooperation with the French. Some brackets in Lada Iskra still remind of the old days.
Among the advantages, the author of the channel noted the good assembly of the car, neat wiring, as well as the treatment of seams with sealant.
There were some controversial points — the tap for draining antifreeze, when trying to drain the liquid, sprays it. The steering knuckles turned out to be rusty from the factory, and the front amplifiers were left unpainted.
The car received 2 types of engines, 8- and 16-valve with 90 and 106 hp, respectively, which can work in tandem with a 5- or 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Prices for Lada Iskra start from 1,250,000 rubles.
