An expensive and powerful car should not be bought for a simple reason: in the first 1.5–2 years of driving, there is a high risk of getting into an accident due to inattention. In addition, after the first 1.5 years, the driver develops courage and a false feeling that he controls everything. The speed and risk of an accident begin to increase.
The expert advised beginners to avoid large cars, as they are more difficult to drive and require more control over dimensions. If you are not interested in cars and are not ready to spend time on repairs, then it is better to abandon old models such as Zhiguli.
It is better to start with a compact small car, for which spare parts are cheaper, and inexpensive OSAGO and casco insurance. Used Hyundai Solaris and Getz, Renault Logan — something simple and more or less understandable that is easy to repair.

Tips for novice drivers
