In 2024, the Belarusian Armed Forces adopted the Buk-MB2 medium-range anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), which is a modification of the Soviet Buk system (GRAU index - 9K37, NATO codification -SA-11 Gadfly).
The Buk-MB2 SAM system includes:

- launcher charging unit 9A39MB2K
- technical maintenance vehicle MTO 9V881MB
- technical maintenance vehicle MTO-ATMB
- transport vehicle 9T243MB
- mobile distribution device PRU-2MB
- mobile power plant PESMB
The anti-aircraft missile system is equipped with a 9M38MB missile of Belarusian design.
Characteristics of the self-propelled firing unit:
9A310MB2K destroys air targets according to target designation data and in autonomous mode.
- Maximum speed of targets hit - 1200 m/s
- Detection range of MiG-29 aircraft type targets - 95 km
- Capture range of MiG-29 aircraft type targets - 85 km
- Automatic optoelectronic system
- Communication range - 1000 m
The promotion of the Buk-MB2 SAM system to foreign markets is handled by the state enterprise Belvneshpromservice.
