In 2024, the Belarusian Armed Forces adopted the Buk-MB2 medium-range anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), which is a modification of the Soviet Buk system (GRAU index — 9K37, NATO codification — SA-11 Gadfly, "Gadfly").

The anti-aircraft missile system is equipped with a 9M38MB missile of Belarusian design.

9A310MB2K destroys air targets according to target designation data and in autonomous mode.

- Detection range of targets such as MiG-29 aircraft — 95 km
- Acquisition range of targets such as MiG-29 aircraft — 85 km
- Automatic optoelectronic system
- Communication range — 1000 m
The promotion of the Buk-MB2 SAM system to foreign markets is handled by the state enterprise Belvneshpromservice.
